CYHC Health and Safety Protocols for COVID-19
CYHC Safety measures for the covid-19 pandemic include having our interns read and follow the guidelines of the agencies and buildings we operate in.
The CYHC has adopted the Health and Safety Protocols for the Neighbourhood Learning Centre (NLC) and MCFD space within the NLC, located at 46361 Yale Road, Chilliwack, and the Sto:lo Primary Health Care Centre (Building 7) located at 7201 Vedder Road, Chilliwack, for our Centre operations.
NLC Safety measures are on site and accessible through the NLC staff at the entrance to the building. NLC Protocols for entering the building are clearly displayed at the front entrance.
MCFD Safety Plan for the NLC is in hard copy on site at the NLC MCFD space used by the CYHC.
Sto:lo, SSA Health and Safety Plan is on site with staff and a hard copy is found in the CYHC Health and Safety binder on site. The SSA Health and Safety Common Courtesies are posted in the lower lunchroom of the Primary Health Care Centre (building 7) and in plain view for all CYHC team members, staff and visiting youth to read upon arriving at the building. Anyone entering the building must adhere to these Common Courtesy guidelines.
Specific CYHC Protocols for use of the Sto:lo site have been developed through the partnership with the SSA Agency and are available in hard copy in the CYHC Health and Safety binder on site.
All CYHC team members and staff are asked to read and sign a form confirming they have read the documents and understand the safety plans and procedures for both the NLC and SSA sites.
A checklist for sanitizing procedures is on site at the NLC in the space used by the CYHC as well as in the space used by the CYHC at Sto:lo with signatures of team members and staff required to sign off that sanitization has occurred.
